Overview
AmiAmi product selection, preorder timing and used-condition notes should be reviewed on the exact item. For an AmiAmi order, use the merchant instructions rather than assuming JPS can buy it through the URL tool.

Step 1: Identify the exact item
Confirm:
Do not rely on a translated title alone.
- manufacturer
- character
- scale
- product number
- release or rerelease
- edition
- in-stock or preorder
- included bonus
Step 2: Check preorder timing
Record the merchant release estimate and payment instructions. Keep release waiting separate from carrier transit; JPS storage rules do not apply to a direct store order.
- expected release month
- payment timing
- cancellation policy
- possible release delay
Step 3: Check pre-owned condition
For used figures and hobby goods, review:
Collectors should evaluate the product and retail packaging separately.
- item condition
- box condition
- missing parts
- opened/unopened status
- included bonuses
- replacement components
Step 4: Check the available purchase route
Check the methods offered directly for the order. If you need another arrangement, ask support about eligibility before paying or choosing a Japan-only address. The JPS URL tool does not support AmiAmi.
Step 5: Plan for box volume
Figures and model kits can create large parcels.
Before consolidating, consider:
- retail box size
- collector-box value
- dimensional weight
- one parcel vs. split shipment
Step 6: Review the merchant invoice
Review the item and shipping charges shown for your store order. Do not apply JPS fees or storage allowances to a direct AmiAmi shipment.
Step 7: Follow the confirmed delivery options
Confirm the destination, contents and carrier options with the merchant. A shipping estimate is not a promise of customs clearance or a delivery date.
