JPS PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 18, 2026

Japan Proxy Shopping (“JPS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information to provide Japan proxy purchasing, warehouse, payment, support and international shipping services. This policy explains what we collect, how it is used, and your available choices.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide to create an account, request purchases, arrange delivery or contact us. This may include your name, email, account details, recipient address and telephone number, order and marketplace details, wallet and payment records, shipping and customs information, and support messages.

Google sign-in provides account information such as your name, email, profile image and account identifier, not your Google password. Our website and providers may also receive IP address, browser and device information, access logs and cookies.

Information required for an account, transaction or shipment is needed to provide that service. If it is not provided, we may be unable to process the relevant request.

2. How we use information

We use information to manage accounts and wallets; process purchases, payments and refunds; receive, store, consolidate and pack products; arrange delivery and customs clearance; provide support and order notifications; and maintain and secure the service.

Relevant records are also used to prevent fraud and abuse, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet applicable legal, tax, accounting and customs requirements.

Where a legal basis is required, processing relies on performance of our service agreement, legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, or consent where required. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already lawfully carried out.

3. Payments

JPS uses Stripe for payment processing. Card details entered into Stripe payment forms are handled by Stripe. JPS does not store full card numbers or card security codes. We receive information needed to manage payments, wallet credits and refunds, including amounts, status and transaction identifiers.

Stripe handles information under its own privacy policy.

4. Sharing information

We do not sell personal information. We share relevant information with providers supporting payments, hosting, sign-in, email, website functionality, support, security and logistics as needed for those services.

Purchases and shipments may require sharing with sellers, stores, postal services, couriers and customs authorities. Relevant information may include recipient contact details, delivery address, shipment contents, declared value and customs or tracking information. Not every recipient needs every category of information.

We may disclose information where required or permitted by law to respond to lawful requests, prevent fraud, protect rights or safety, or resolve disputes. Relevant records may also be transferred in a lawful business transfer, subject to applicable privacy requirements.

5. Cookies and third-party services

Cookies and similar technologies support sign-in, security, website functionality and preferences such as language and currency. You can manage cookies through your browser. Disabling essential cookies may prevent some features from working.

Third-party features, including Google sign-in and website translation, may process technical information and content needed to provide those features under their own policies. Marketplaces and other linked websites have independent privacy practices.

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to public pages and selections of predefined homepage shopping cards. Google may process online identifiers, IP addresses, browser and device details, and page-view information, including through analytics cookies. Card-selection events contain only a fixed card group and editorial card ID, not your search text, account or order information. We do not load Analytics until you accept. We exclude account and operator pages, remove URL query strings and fragments from page-view data, and disable advertising features. You can reject Analytics or withdraw consent using Cookie settings. Withdrawal stops future collection; it does not erase data already collected. Browser settings can remove existing cookies.

6. International processing

Information may be processed in Japan, the delivery country, or countries where our providers operate. Privacy laws may differ between countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards, information or consent for an international transfer, we will comply with those requirements. Contact us for information about transfers relevant to your personal information.

7. Retention and security

We retain information as long as needed for the purposes described here, considering the account and transaction lifecycle, legal retention requirements, security needs and unresolved disputes. Account closure does not necessarily require immediate deletion of transaction or compliance records.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and risks involved. No online system is completely secure. Protect your sign-in credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, a copy of certain information, restriction of or objection to processing, or withdrawal of consent. You may also have a right to complain to the relevant data protection authority.

Send requests to the contact below. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the request. Requests are handled according to applicable law, including relevant deadlines and exceptions. Records needed for legal obligations, ongoing transactions, security or dispute resolution may need to be retained.

9. Children

JPS is not directed to children who cannot lawfully use the service or provide valid consent without a parent or guardian. If you believe a child provided information contrary to applicable law, contact us so we can assess and address it.

10. Policy updates

We may update this policy as services, practices or legal requirements change. The current version and last-updated date will be posted here. Additional notice or consent will be provided where required by applicable law.
